Beer Pong
What you need:
- 6-8 ft long table
- 14 cups
- 2 ping pong balls
- 2 teams of 2
Set 6 cups in a triangle on either side of the table, 3 in the back, 2 in the middle, and 1 up front. Fill the other 2 cups with water to clean the balls. Fill each of the remaining 12 cups 1/4 to 1/2 way with beer. Make sure the back 3 cups are about 1/2 inch from the edge and all the cups are touching. When starting the first game a player from each team stairs eye to eye and who ever makes the shot gets the first 2 shots. Then each player shoots a ball. If both players from the same team make it in the opposing cup they both shoot again. When a ball has been made the opposite team must drink the cup, switching turns drinking cups. First team to make all the cups wins. However many cups the winning team has left the losing team also has to drink them. Winning team stays on the table, and new challengers step up.
Family Guy Drinking Game
Me and my sister came up with this game after recording Family Guy on DVR and watching it for ten hours straight on a lonely Saturday night. Play this game over season 3 and you’ll be drunk in no time. Take…
3 drinks for every sexual reference
1 drink every time one of the Griffins has a flashback
2 drinks for ever reference to the “Asian Reporter”
4 drinks every time Herbert gets excited about little boys
4 drinks when someone gets physically hurt
3 drinks for every time Stewie plots to kill his mother
4 drinks when Stewie points a weapon at someone
5 drinks every time the dog gets drunk or makes a reference to drugs
2 drinks every time Peter laughs
Theres a subsequent drinking game for South Park, but due to the nature of the cartoon we could only come up with three things…
2 drinks for every curse word
3 drinks every time Cartman gets an idea
6 drinks when Kenny dies
Asshole
This is a slightly more complex game, but very, very fun when mastered. This game requires a minimum of 5 people to play. High boot factor.
The first hand of asshole is the establishing hand. This will decide who is the President, V-Pres, Normal People, Beer Bitch, and the Asshole for the next round.
Approximately 6 or 7 cards are dealt to each player, depending on the number playing this can be higher or lower. The rank of the cards is as follows (most powerful to least powerful) 2, A, K, Q, … 4, and 3.
Some is chosen to go first and they play a card, the next person has two options:
-to play a card higher than (but not the same) as the previous card.
-or to pass on that turn.
For example, if a 4 is lead, a next player must play HIGHER than a 4, the the next player has to play higher than that. A new hand starts when all players pass, or when someone plays a 2 (the most powerful card). The last person to play a card, leads the next hand.
This proceeds until all players are rid of their cards. The first player out of cards is the Pres for the next round, the next out becomes the VP, the next players out are normal, and the last person out is the Asshole.
However lets say that the person leading has two 5’s, this person may play them both, then the next player must play two of the same card HIGHER than five; this player cannot play one card or three cards, only two. As well, three, or even four, of the same card may be lead. The only time a player may lay one card in a situation like this is if it is a two (the power card); a single two, beats everything, and the hand ends followed by a new lead.
The roles for each player are as follows:
President:
can make any player drink at any time, no-one may make the President drink but self. The Pres is the first player to start each round (benefits of power). And the Pres should never have to refill own beer. If A player is president three times in a row, he or she gets to make a rule for the game, which can only be reversed if another player makes Pres three times in a row.
Vice President:
can make any player drink at any time (except Pres), the only the Pres or self can make the VP drink. The VP goes second in each round.
Normal People:
These players can make each other drink as well as the Asshole. They play in the order they finished the previous round; first normal out follows the VP, second normal out follows first, etc.
Beer Bitch: Name says it all.
Asshole:
for many reasons, this player is truly the Asshole. This player has to do all dealing of cards, all sweeping of cards after the hands, and can ony make players drink while dealing cards. The asshole plays last in each round.
A few recommendations, at the end of each round, the players should move seats in order to reflect the hierarchy, and proper playing order. Play your lowest cards first. Abuse the power when Pres or VP, but remember it will always come back to haunt you, especially when abusing the Asshole.
Play as many rounds as desired.
Quarters
A mindless game that actually requires a certain amount of coordination. Supplies: people and beer (as usual), a quarter (hence the name), and as many cups as there are players.
All players sit around a table with their glasses clustered in the center and, in turn, try to bounce the quarter off the table into a glass. If the wuarter lands in a glass, the corresponding player has to drink. If the player fails, play passes to the next in the circle.
If the player is fortunate enough to make three bounces in a row, this player may make a rule. Anything goes. Some favorites are:
“Can’t say drink, drank, or drunk.”
“Can’t point with your fingers.”
“No proper names.”
“Have a drink before each attempted bounce.”
etc. (be creative)
If any rule is broken during the course of play, the violator subsequently “consumes some beverage.”
Kings
This is a game that I didn’t even know existed, but I my sister and I came up with it at our first house party, then found out it was called Kings.
The game is simple, and the objective is to get to get everyone else drunk and watch them act stupid. It is a mixture of a few drinking games, like the Question Game. You’ll need 2 decks of cards and at least 5 people for it to be fun.
Everyone sits in a circle with two decks of cards, shuffled together, in front of them. Going clockwise, each person takes turns drawing a card and doing something, depending on what the card card is. Most cards involve group involvement.
Ace: Make a rule that will be followed for the rest of the game. For instance, I once made a rule that you had to flash the party hostesses (my sister and I) if you had to drink three times in a row for any reason.
King: A large pitcher of beer, or another drink, is placed in the center of the circle. When the fourth king is drawn, the person who drew it must drink it all. When the 8th is drawn, whoever drew it has to do double.
Queen: Question game. The bearer of the card starts with a question, and each person in order must answer with a question. The person who makes a statement or repeats a question already asked must drink.
Jack: Jack is whack…you get skipped on the next round…and take a drink every time someone else does.
10: Categories. The card bearer names a category and everyone must name something related to it. For instance, category is Cars, so you can name Dodge, Mustang, etc.
9: Rhyme. Card bearer says a word that everyone else must rhyme
8: Straight. The person across from the bearer has to drink
7: Heaven. Everyone puts their hands up, the last person has to drink for 7 seconds.
6: Chicks: Girls Drink (in some versions, 6 is dicks, meaning guys have to drink)
5: Guys: Guys drink (in some versions, the people on the left and right of the bearer have to drink)
4: Floor: everyone puts their hands on the floor in front of them, last person drinks. (In some version, 4 is whores, meaning all girls drink)
3: Me: Person who draws the card drinks
2: You: card bearer chooses a person to drink.
